Offer from an educational institute: In order to obtain student visa for UK one must be above 16 years of age. Before applying for visa you must have an offer letter from reputed authorized university/institute/college of UK or sponsored by any licensed student. After this the student will obtain CAS (Confirmation for Acceptance of Studies). A student must apply for his/her visa within six months of receiving CAS.
English proficiency: Despite other nations, UK does not demand any specific English proficiency test like TOEFL, IELTS results to obtain student visa. The English level of student is checked through CEFR scale. (Common European Framework of Reference for languages). The result is divided into two areas. B1 grade for below degree level students and B2 grade for degree level or above students. It needs results of SELT (Secure English Language Test).
Eligibility criteria: In order to get visa a student must be above 16 years of age. He/she should have a offer letter as stated from any reputed university/institution/college. Must have proficiency in English language. But he/she must have enough funds to pay his/her fee and living expenses.

Tuberculosis test results: This is the required medical test if you want to stay in UK for more than six months. Only certain clinicians are approved whose test conducted will be considered valid.
Proof of funds: Some specific amount of funds should be shown to apply your visa. They are Pound 1265 to support your living expenses plus your tuition fee for UK. There are some exceptions to this case. Proof regarding the funds is not required to be shown when you have been declared as a student union sabbatical officer by your nation, your country comes under the list of differential evidence requirement", already have a valid visa or it is for the duration of 12 months.
Immigration Healthcare Surcharge: If a student wants to stay in UK for more than six months then he/she must pay immigration healthcare surcharge. Amount of money needed to pay depends on time duration of stay. After paying this you still need to pay expenses for some things like prescription charges, dental treatment, eye tests, conception materials and so things.

How to apply for the Student visa for UK?
