Christopher Yim is the general manager of the Asia Pacific regional office and manages more than 1000 employees in the region. Yim is a demanding manager and always set challenging targets. He communicates with his employees immediately after he had made his decisions and expects them to work hard to achieve the targets (Xu, Loi& Ngo,2016). He helps the employees if they could not achieve their targets. He also supports his staffs by working with them for long hours and make sure they have the essential resources to finish their works. 2. Yim could change his demanding behavior. The advantage is that the employees develop passion towards their work. The disadvantage is that it put too much pressure on the employees.

Recommendations

I would recommend the Laissez-Faire leadership style for Yim.
In this leadership, the leader is not directly involved in taking decisions and trust in the decisions of his team.
This leadership style will help Yim to know what is going in the company and provide feedback whenever required.
