Discussion

In the case of Judaism, both the religious and rituals observance are being grounded under Jewish law. The Halakhah governs not only the religious life or the dressing style of the people. The observance of the Halakhah always shows a great amount of gratitude to their God for showing greatrespect and providing a sense of Jewish identification that is highly sacred fordaily life. The Jewish religion always identifies significant occasions in all person's life. As said by Johnstone (2015), the Judaism focus on the family, festivals, and all community in commemoration. Christianity is the Abrahamic monotheistic religion that is highly based on the teachings and lives of Jesus Christ. The Christians had believed that Jesus Christ is the son of god and came to save all the people who are being born as Messiah in the Old Testament and the New Testament. In the case of Christianity, the nature of God is Trinity, and Judaism the nature of God is unity. The nature of Messiah in case of the Christians is always the divine sin sacrifice, and for Judaism, the nature of the messiah is the Human righteous kind. The blood is required as the atonement for the Christians, and in the case of Judaism, prayer or repentance is required as the atonement.

According to the Christians, the sins exist when everyone is being stained with Eve and Adam, but in the case of Judaism, everyone begins with a clean slate when sin occurs. Satan is a fallen angel according to the Christians, but as per the Judaism, the Satan is the agent of god. The Christians read Tiran in a written manner, but in the case of Judaism, the Torah is being done through oral and written. Judaism does not accept the Christian teaching that had been provided by Jesus. Both the religions differ in ceremonies, worship, style, festivals, dress and other events that differs both the religions. As said by Mathras et al. (2016), Christianity had been received from the religion Judaism through the basic understanding of the god that helps to create a covenant relationship with every people. Christian's religions focus more on the spiritual world than the Jews. According to the Jews, the god Jesus is not at all considered to be a divine being. The Jews do not celebrate all the holidays that are connected with the Lord Jesus.

The Christians always teach their followers that Jesus Christ fulfills all the Old Testament prophecies, but Judaism sees Jesus Christ as a good teacher or leader. Christianity had always believed God came to the world in the form of the human beinglikeJesus Christ. Judaism always strongly denies thesacrifice is not necessary as Jesus Christ was not at all a god. Jesus Christ creates a distinction between Judaism and Christianity as the work of Christ is the main issue thatreligion Christianity, where they only follow the teachings of Jesus Christ but does not believe him as the goddiffers these two religions. As said by Walker (2016), Jewish law incorporates a large body of rabbinical laws and rules. The Christians follow all the new and Old Testament scriptures, but the Jews only follow the Old Testament and the Babylonian Talmud, which is a collection of ethical and legal writings of the Jewish folklore and history.

The Lord Jesus had died on the cross for removing everyone sins that had been resulted into the door of salvation where the majority of the Christians had walked through to remove their sins. The Christians had believed none of the middle people is required to reach their gods. Every Christians welcome their guests in welcoming gestured for sharing their contradictions and beliefs successfully. Jews had always believed that the god has multiple personalities, and for this reason, they do notbelieve Jesus Christ is a god. As said by Cipriani (2017),jews had always believed Jesus is a great prophet and had able to suggestgreat wonders, signs, and miracles. Jews believe that to reach a god, they must go through a priest, rabbi, or spiritual teacher. For this reason, they had believed that Jesus had provided direction to approach a god when help is required. Both religions have their valid argument when they are supporting their beliefs.

According to the Christians, men had already being inherited sins from Adam and women from Eve. For this reason, the humankind is already in need of forgiveness fromthe sin. According to Judaism, the follower must choose good actions from the bad. The action of religion shows the nature of the Jews but not thoughts. Jews always believe in celebrating life for fulfilling all the covenant of god. Doing good deeds is very important to repair all the wrongdoings or sins in the world. As said by Basedau, Gobien&Prediger (2018), the Christians always believed to love their god's and obey commandments to create a strong relationship with the god Jesus Christ. The Jews had always believed in the divine revelation of God's law and must analyze the action of man through the identification of righteousness and good deeds. Every new year the Jews pray and fast to gain forgiveness from their gods. According to the Christians believes humans could not save themselves, and the only God had not created any sins. For this reason, God can save the life of a person, and that's why they believed that Jesus had come down to save humankind.

The two religions that are Christianity and Judaism got themselves diverged in the first century, by showcasing that Christianity mainly bases its claim on the teachings of the new testament that is holding a correct belief, Whereas Judaism is mainly inclined towards the perspective of correct conduct which is also termed as orthopraxy. It can be stated that religious traditions such as Christianity or Judaism along with the emergence of Islam consist of a high number of variants or forms which are termed as the Catholic, Orthodox, Mormon, Baptist and many others that have evolved (Martin, 2016 ). Out of the seven dimensions of religion that has been stated, the fifth one includes the ethical and legal dimension whereby the traditions that are being carried out in both Christianity and Judaism differs. This particular dimension demonstrates the fact that how one should act in a way that is highly logical and ethical in a manner without prejudicing the positions of others within the society (Cohen & Johnson, 2017). ). Both the grounds that have been stated which includes having a specific legal paradigm that would command a particular religion or that the following of definite ethical rules and regulations that are generic. Based on this distinction, it can be stated that Christianity mainly focuses on the provisions that are being included within the new testaments, which are derived from the Bible.

Regarding Judaism, it can be stated that looking on to the aspects of appropriate or correct conduct is given the foremost priority. Such conducts are required to be highly ethical and liturgical, which is in complete contrast to that of the preachings of Christianity. In accordance to the statements that have been made by Smart, it can be concluded that all forms of religions are inclined towards the aspect of introducing the basic code of conduct that would predominantly act as a guiding light for the rest of its followers. The ethical or legal testaments that are being followed in Judaism is the Torah, which mainly prescribes the ten commandments that are required to be followed by its followers along with other moral and ethical rules and regulations. Whereas regarding relation to the aspect of Christianity it can be stated that although they are the believer of Trinity and consider the rulings of Torah as the final word or letter from God but are highly selective like its applicability. Majority off the followers of Christianity are of the view that such selectiveness is exercised through the rulings that are being prescribed within the Book of Acts (Abu-Raiya, &Pargament, 2015). In addition to this for the wrongs that are being committed by followers of Christianity will be required to undergo the process of atonement as a punishment whereas regarding Judaism it only prayer and repentance with the objective of a clean start.

Regarding this dimension of the religion, it mainly focuses its claim on the ways or procedures that are being specific to any particular religion with the purpose of societal interaction. In most of the cases, it has been seen that individuals within any particular religion are inclined towards the aspect of following their unique range of beliefs and rules, but there is always the existence of any social organization that regulates the same (Yong, 2019). For both Christianity and Judaism as well as such forms of organized institutions or denominations are operating that assists in the process of carrying out of different nature of religious practices with ease. For instance, in respect to Christianity, it is the formulation of organized denominations to carry out their traditions and practices and regard to Judaism, it is the assemblage of the faithful individuals to fulfill its practices. With time it has been seen that Christianity has developed itself into the broader form of religious traditions which has ultimately led to the generation of further religious denominations based on the system of hierarchy. The churches of Rome are being considered as the topmost based on its hierarchy and that of being highly formal in its followings of Christianity whereas the protestant churches that are being formed are informal (Dèttore, Berardi, &Pozza, 2017).

Within this particular dimension come the tangible or physical forms on which the teachings of any particular religion are being showcased. The details include within its ambit the books or emblems, the structures that are temples, churches, varied amount of religious practices that are being carried out, the representation of the things that are divine and such other relevant materials that would further generate beliefs and thoughts. In respect of Christianity, it can be stated that the orthodox and the protestant ones mainly represent the religion through the icon, devotional paintings, and carvings to the society in general. Judaism mainly believes in the aspect of ritual objects such as the rulings of scriptures such as Torah which mainly regulates their believes and practices within the community (Collins-Kreineret et al., 2017).

Conclusion

At the ending note of this essay that mainly looks on to the objective of understanding the comparisons that are being laid down within the religions of Christianity and Judaism, it can be stated that both of them differ in various angles. Based on such differences, there have been many instances previously whereby both the communities have ended up into painful conflicts, thereby minimizing the scope of reconciliation between the same. But after the advent of middle ages the situation has changed which restricts any form of activities such as forcible conversion or displacement of the Jews along with infliction of tortures based on their preferences have also been reduced. But the exercising of such activities did have an impact on the cultures and practices of Judaism, which has further led to the adoption of missionary efforts to make peace and tranquility within both the traditions.
