Tao or Dao is mainly a Chinese word which signifies a way, a path or a route connected with a specific doctrine or a definite principle. According to East Asian philosophy and the religion of East Asia, Tao has considered as an order of the universe which are in a natural state and whose character depicts one's human intuition which must have a discern for realizing the overall potential based on individual wisdom. The main knowing of life cannot only a part of the grasped concept. It is also understood through the overall experiences of living every day which is for an individual. The important characteristics of specific Eastern religion world view suggest that one could say and feel the essence of it by awareness of the unity which is mutual interrelation of events (Wiebe, 2019). These experiences are mainly considered as the manifestos of a basic oneness. They are interdependent and also inseparable with several parts of the cosmic whole. These depict that there are several manifestations of only one reality which is ultimate (Vignoles et al. 2016). Space is the fundamental unit of the element which is considered as the embracing principle of higher unity. This also includes worships of the ancestral region, a region of Chinese folk, Taoism and Salvationist organization. The elements are drawn from Mahayana Buddhism which is situated from the core of Chinese Buddhism as well as East Asian Buddhism (Ching, 2016).

Taoism does not always strictly come under a single umbrella or a religion that is organized like Abrahamic traditions but it includes Tenets and core teachings of Taoism. This is generally considered as a way of life rather than a religion. The main ethics of Tao include the unity of the universe, unity of materials and the spiritual world. The three other jewels include love, moderation, and humility. The theology of Tao mostly focuses on the non-action part that further includes spontaneity, emptiness, and relativity as a whole (Raitu et al. 2015). The material objects are minimized and perhaps do not exists in such Eastern Religion. This is because they believe that in the world of metaphysics there is no existence of material objects. Perhaps there can be two objects in a single place at an individual time. This resembles that a lump often takes the position of a fashionable statue or a sculptor. Therefore, there is a new existence, but it also seems like that of a lump of clay (Koopmans, 2015). So though there is formerly one thing which can be seen but there are two things that are into existence at the same time. One thing is formerly visible and another is not visible as it has been already transformed. In that case, according to Leibniz's Law, the responses and presence of materials are a paradox and fall into two groups. This is the only reason, in Taoism material objects are minimized and at times they do not keep the value of such materialistic existence (Harrison, 2018).

On the other hand, western religion tends to think that the universe is mainly a creation of individual objects and created intentionally. Therefore, it can be said that certain ideologies and principles are different in both eastern and western religions. They religion which are associated with Eastern principle are typically polytheistic in nature, whereas, the religion that are western in nature are monotheistic where only one God is worshipped. The Western religions are practiced in many countries that are outside of the East region. Eastern religions are differently practiced in some areas of the world. These include India, Southeast Asia, Japan, and China (Mills, 2015).  The western religion includes Catholicism, Protestantism, Puritanism, Evangelicalism as well as Judaism. The locations where the religions are practiced mainly depend upon the historical background it contains.  The Western religions are not only driven by different sets of rules and or ideals. But, they concentrate on the basic good and harsh behavior to get in Heaven (Minton et al. 2015). There is a basic commonality between both religions that is there is faith in some forms of religion among people. The basic implication of difference mainly comes from the types of culture, people and occupation. These dynamics influences a lot of the religions and the way of thinking to be followed by a definite set of people. The Eastern religion is also known as polytheistic and Western religion is considered as monotheistic in nature (Bernauer, 2017).

The Eastern religion depicts no rewards for believing in doctrine. They don't believe in punishment for not believing in doctrine. There is no special virtue in believing and there is only one thing followed that includes in doing right and sincere feelings. Therefore, the spirit does care about the belief that exists. The only important part so far in Eastern religion includes believing a doctrine where there are certain motivations in taking advantage and is relatively expressed in the principle (Collins, 2017).

The western people are associated with a doctrine or a belief of the religious journey. This is important to make a conscious decision for believing in someone or something. The followers in Western religion are also considered as believers and the act of the belief is considered as an important one. According to this religion, the act of believing determines the fate and also applies in systemization to the Western obsession in Science (Cohen et al. 2016). The difference has been culminated with people, thinking, community and influence of place at a higher altitude.
