With rapid growth of information and communication technology, business and market place are increasing every day where the business organisations are facing drastic changes in the operational and business process. The online advanced system of monitoring and report generating is obtaining popularity as well as replacing the old process of conducting the business. The advanced technologies are able to offer various advantages. Muscat Automobile Accessories LLC is one of the leading organisations in Oman in the sales of brand new parts of all car companies. The Chief Information Officer has requested to implement a system that will ensure all the branches of the company are interconnected with each other along with head office. The project deals with adoption of the online system.
In the current study, project management for adopting the online system, scope of the project, requirements specifications, project schedule, risk assessment plan, costing plan or estimation plan, project monitoring and controlling strategy as well as acceptance plan and social relevance are described.
In the group project, the tasks will be divided among the group members. The tasks will be divided into three major categories. Requirements gathering and using them effectively, risk management plan, costing plan, developing project schedule and project acceptance plan. Waleed will be responsible for risk management plan and project acceptance plan, whereas Salah will be responsible for requirements planning, costing plan and developing project schedule and related tasks.
Scope of the project
Completion of the project will be useful to interconnect the branch office with each other and with the head office.
