By analyzing given scenario different department have different data traffic and provide priority to that data which has more required by hotel staff. After discussion with IT staff of hotel the proper data communication in network and required bandwidth for each department are clearly known. Now for the different data coming in network to identify and assign a different priority here QoS features are used. For avoiding data loss and to reject use less data QoS is used. Now as per discussion to all department here mostly mail and text data traffic are used. So we assign a priority to that data traffic. As per required mention in scenario there are FTP and SMTP traffic are also set as more priority level.
Now for communicate this network with another network and as per all department requirement hotel network want 4Mbps bandwidth connectivity. Now for real time traffic coming from video calling and other application we assign 70% of bandwidth of total bandwidth. However other application with FTP traffic want 200kbps and for SMTP traffic want 800kbps bandwidth to communicate with network and other remaining bandwidth are allocated for other lower priority application and data traffic coming from users. So by doing this partition of bandwidth using QoS services network can work with no failure and it can provide required data speed to each department.
