I found reflective journaling to be a tool for critical analysis and learning for the subject matter, helping me to document my thoughts and helped in my self-development.

My journal entries functioned as my guiding coach, providing me leadership of what should be my next target, helping me review my progress and guiding me to be responsible. Beery entry, which I made, helped me in detailing my experiences in a week. With journaling, I was able to keep my thoughts organised. I was able to relieve my stress with journal writing and allowed me to self-reflect. I was able to review my goals and the progress, which I have made over the course of time from writing my entries on a daily basis. This helped me in understanding what are my strengths and limitations. I found that my personality being introverted has been challenging my self-confidence and my ability to communicate with other efficiently. I wrote my goals, which I planned to achieve over a course of time and reflected on my ability to achieve each of them. I was ablate to reflect on the causes of stress and what made me happy. I understood that happiness is how one relates to a situation; essentially, what we make of a situation influences our happiness. I was able to ascertain how to handle my stress and what should I be doing to relieve myself. Writing journal helped me in bringing a questioning attitude, detailing my experiences and compare it with my knowledge and perceptions (Lasater and Nielsen, 2009). Journaling also effectively boosted my memory powerand inspired creativity. I also was able to brush up my writing skills. Writing journal entries helped me in enhancing my emotional intelligence. I have been able to comprehend and analyse the emotions of myself and others in and around my vicinity. The reflective writing is about my challenges and passion, and writing them, down has helped me in deducing what I need to do.
