Interactions in the Atmosphere
The interactions in the atmosphere as stated takes place through scattering and absorption, this reveals the significance of these two considerations. As the name suggests, scattering is the redirection of the electromagnetic radiation which was caused by the interaction of particles ad large gas molecules in the atmosphere. The redirection of these radiations from its concerned path defines scattering in a justified manner. Scattering could be in three types, named Rayleigh scattering, Mie scattering, and Nonselective scattering. The Rayleigh scattering is identified when the particles are small in size as and when compared to wavelength of the radiation. When the particles are of the same size as that of wave length, then it is known as Mie scattering. On the other hand, absorption is the factor or mechanism which causes the molecules present in the atmosphere to absorb the energy at the various wavelengths. It has been observed that ozone is the layer which absorbs the harmful ultraviolet radiation coming from the sun. The spectrum areas gets influenced the atmospheric absorption and it signifies its relevance to remote sensors are known as atmospheric windows.

The increasing deterioration in the atmosphere has been impacting the people at large and the radiations has been adding on to the cause of the deterioration.
